The Fate of the Ferry

The future of the Alaska Ferry is on the line after the Alaskan government proposed budget cuts to the Alaska Marine Highway System, which could include the closure of the southern terminus in Bellingham, Washington.
"The Fate of the Ferry" was part of a class-wide collaborative effort to tell the stories of the Bellingham Waterfront and display them in a cohesive website, 48 Degrees North. To learn more about this project and those involved, click here.
